imagination-love

I started this blog intending to blog about my trip to India ...that didn't happen. One post and I was done. So this is my second attempt at blogging my life.

This blog is a space for me to vent my crazy ideas and dream out loud. "Your imagination is your preview to life's coming attractions" -Albert Einstein

“I consider myself a stained-glass window. And this is how I live my life. Closing no doors and covering no windows; I am the multi-colored glass with light filtering through me, in many different shades. Allowing light to shed and fall into many many hues. My job is not to direct anything, but only to filter into many colors. My answer is destiny and my guide is joy. And there you have me.” —C. Joybell C.

“Yeah but not yet. We still have time to be us. I don’t know if you can describe us.”
I love you Court. And no, you cannot describe us.

15. Never a Dull Moment

16…

Literally, when I look back on this year, I cannot pinpoint specifics as the list could go on forever. The moments shared at Bartosh Lane were some that I will never forget! The love and laughs, encouragement, and realness that took place was something that cannot be replicated. When I was little, I would dream of living with my best friends someday when we were older, little did I know that I would find some best friends in River Falls and do just that. Life is weird and an adventure and I know God brought all of the ladies of Bartosh, Courtney, Lauren, Carly, and Lindsie and me together for the best reason of all…to live and love each other and the learn with every adventure we shared. I cannot imagine this year any differently as each and every part of it, no matter how small, made my year at Bartosh a pivotal year and one that I will never forget.

As I sit in my empty room on my empty bed I feel so sad as this year closes. Not because we are all moving our lives in directions that are bigger than us, although this is a huge damper as well ha, but because I do not know if this year will ever live up to the ones to come. All I do know, is 825 Bartosh Lane was a home with love, understanding, growth, laughter, and friends. I also know that this is not the end, but only a snippet of what is to come. Relationships and memories such as these do not end with a simple change in environment. Bartosh will be forever my “favorite place” and home because of all of the people and experiences shared there.  “Home is wherever I’m with you” Thank you for an unbelievable year Bartosh.

“May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand. May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism. Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone. May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace. May a kind word, a reassuring touch, and a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them. Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending.” Anonymous
